Fishes & Loaves

The Fishes and Loaves Feeding Ministry is committed to providing hot meals, emergency food boxes and a supplemental carry out meal to feed the hungry.

These services are all provided to the residents of the San Pablo Golden Gate Corridor of North Oakland. All food is provided for free. No one in need is turned away.

Fishes and Loaves also provides Nutrition Education Workshops on a regular basis.

COVID-19 Alert: At the direction of Alameda County, Fishes and Loaves has closed our kitchen. Our kitchen will comply with the COVID19 Industry Guidance issued by the State of California before safely reopening.

Fishes and Loaves will continue to share free bags of food every Wednesday and every 3rd Friday.

Weekly Meals & Groceries

This ministry provides hot and nutritious meals every Wednesday and bags of groceries on Fridays. Fishes & Loaves works in conjunction with the City Of Oakland as a hunger program site.

39,000 Meals & Counting

There are over 39,000 meals provided to the hungry and homeless each year. Fishes and Loaves also provides nutrition education workshops on a regular basis with the help of Alameda Food Bank.
